Two Rivers IPA gets your taste buds ‘hop’n’!

Recently I was invited to a VIP tasting for the launch of the new Two Rivers IPA, a unique collaboration beer between Ninkasi Brewing Co. in Eugene, Oregon, and The Brewer’s Cabinet here in Reno.

The collaboration brew is an experimental hop IPA with crisp flavors of mango, guava, and passionfruit. The brew was made in two batches, one in Oregon using water sourced from the McKenzie River and the other in Reno made with water from the Truckee River. The tasting allowed us to taste both batches, which were very citrus-forward and tropical.

It is so cool when two breweries (in two different states!) can collaborate and create something new and unique. And even better, a portion of the proceeds from Two Rivers IPA goes to support One Truckee River.

I am a Reno gal, and I have family in Oregon, so to me, this is a perfect beer!

Thanks to Courtney Meredith with Design on Edge for sharing this opportunity with me. And thanks to The Brewer’s Cabinet and Ninkasi Brewing Co. for their spirit of brewing collaboration!
