Reno’s Youth Serving Up Hope for Suicide Awareness

I sure love it when I am able support our local community and Grant Denton who’s passion is over the top in making a difference in the lives of others.

On December 10th, 2019  the kids at The Honors Academy of Literature took over the Campo in Reno  and served up some “HOPE” to raise money for suicide awareness as a fundraiser for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Nevada Chapter. What a a delicious way to support a very important cause.

I was able to arrive early and meet the kids and sponsors before heading to the studio for my On The Town Tuesdays radio show.  Sure wish I was able to stay and enjoy the delicious food and watch the kids in action.  I heard they rocked the night.

Huge thank you to the amazing kids at The Honors Academy of Literature and to Reno Behavioral Healthcare Hospital for making a difference in the lives of many.  Grant Denton, your vision and spirit will never go unnoticed.

Special thank you also to the City of Reno Government City Council for their support!
