Join Bliss Babe with Susan G. Koman Race 4 the Cure

Hello Family and Friends,

Pink hats, pink tutus, survivors and heroes alike will once again rally to be bold, be fearless and be More Than Pink on Sunday, Oct. 15 for the 19th annual Susan G. Komen Reno Race for the Cure in Downtown Reno at City Plaza. This year’s rally cry is: “It’s one thing to be aware of breast cancer. It’s another to do something about it. Be more than pink!”

We would like to invite you to join the Bliss Babe Team as we Race 4 The Cure. Don’t worry if you are not a runner you can walk and if you can’t make the race you are welcome to donate to our team.

Presented by the Eldorado Resort Casino, Silver Legacy Resort Casino Reno and Circus Circus Reno, the 5K run/walk will raise funds for local breast cancer community health programs and breast cancer research, and ultimately to contribute to Susan G. Komen’s bold goal of reducing breast cancer deaths in the US by 50% by 2026. Registration and fundraising opens April 15, with $10 early bird savings for those who sign up before June 1 at KomenNevada.org/renorace.

Registration and Fundraising
Race for the Cure participants can sign up starting April 15 atKomenNevada.Org/RenoRace. Registration for adults is $30 through May 31, $35 from June 1 – September 30, and $40 starting October 1. Youth registration is $20 (until May 31), $25 (June 1 – September 30) and $35 starting October 1.

Susan G. Komen Nevada depends on participants to raise funds for its community health grants. Registration fees help cover the cost of the event, but participant fundraising is how the organization is able to provide breast cancer services in the community.

Several fundraising prizes will be awarded including More Than Pink windshield shades, Lake Tahoe getaway vacations, a hot air balloon ride, American Airlines AAdvantage mile certificates and more. The top 15 fundraisers will be invited to a spectacular VIP brunch at the Eldorado Resort after the Race on October 15.
