Oktoberfest comes to Reno!
Celebrate German heritage Reno style this September
This September the spirit of Munich comes to the Brewer’s Cabinet in Reno bringing Bavarian fun during the world’s greatest celebration of beer, music and autumn.
Date & Time: Saturday, September 24th, 2016 – 11am – 7pm
Location: The Brewer’s Cabinet: 475 S Arlington Ave. Reno, NV 89501 (back parking lot)
Cost: Free to the public
The first annual Oktoberfest at The Brewer’s Cabinet is a family affair, with events and activities for both adults and kids alike. The event is free and open to the public. Guests can indulge in a special seasonally released Oktoberfest craft brew by Brewers Cabinet in traditional steins, and authentic Bavarian food including bratwursts, pretzels, and more from local purveyor and award-winning chef Mark Estee with Liberty Food & Wine Exchange. In addition to the great food, guests will be entertained by live traditional music, participate in Bavarian style dancing demonstrations, see traditional alpenhorn blowing, hear yodeling and much more!
The Brewer’s Cabinet focuses on spreading awareness of the local brewing community and the heritage of craft beer and this event is a perfect example of that. A portion of the daily sales throughout the month from the Brewer’s Cabinet will benefit The Reno Rebuild Project, based in Reno, Nevada, a small business community scholarship fund founded by local business owners.
