We want to bring you along on an extraordinary journey and have designed this year’s Annual Passport event to be one adventure after another. You will travel throughout the picturesque foothills of El Dorado County, and be transported into a happy haven of delectable flavors through our wines, food, music and incredible foothill vistas. This combination of sights, sounds and flavors only happens once a year—and you won’t want to miss it.
But don’t take our word for it—taste for yourself what the best vintners in the West have come together to create. So jump on board for an exhilarating experience and join us for this year’s 26th Annual Passport Wine Event. This year’s adventure takes place over 2 weekends, April 22-23 & April 29-30, and features over 20 El Dorado County wineries with locally-produced wines to taste, handcrafted gifts from local artisans, and an array of tasty bites.

Pre-Flight and Winemaker Dinners
Kick off your Passport Weekend Adventure by attending the Passport Pre-Flight and Winemaker Dinners on either April 21 or April 28. At the Pre-Flight guests will have exclusive access to 7 wineries that you won’t see during the Passport event. Following this tasting, guests can purchase tickets to the locally sourced and wonderfully paired six course Winemaker Dinner at Sienna Restaurant in El Dorado Hills. These events will sell out—so purchase your tickets today!
About the Event
The El Dorado Winery Association has proudly hosted the Passport wine event for 26 years. This annual touring and tasting event showcases the best that El Dorado has to offer—from the region’s award winning wines and unique and charming tasting rooms to the splendid foothill vineyards and stunning views.
Your Passport will provide you with a 26th anniversary commemorative wine glass and will grant you exclusive access to adventure through the foothills at over 20 participating wineries. Each participating winery on the route will be curating a unique experience just for Passport holders.
The most exciting part about your weekend is you have the freedom to make it your very own wine adventure. Travel to as many wineries as you’d like or stay at your favorite all weekend, the decision is yours to make.
And last but not least, keep your Passport on you at all times throughout your adventure for an unforgettable weekend experience. We have made it a point to partner with some remarkable local restaurants, hotels, and businesses to extend discounts or promotional items to our Passport holders.
For those of you who are traveling gurus, be sure to bring your Passport Bingo Card into each winery to collect a stamp. When you complete a “bingo,” turn in your card to be entered into our drawing for two complimentary 2018 Passport Weekend Tickets.
